The Würth Group is the world's market leader in its core business, the trade of assembly and fastening materials. It currently consists of more than 400 companies in over 80 countries and employees* over 75,000 people. Over 32,000 of whom are permanently employed field sales representatives*. In the financial year 2018, the Würth Group achieved sales of 13.6 billion euros.
In the company's core business, the Würth Line, the product range for trade and industrial companies includes over 125,000 products: from screws, screw accessories and anchors to tools, chemical-technical products and personal protective equipment. The Allied Companies of the Würth Group, which either operate in business areas adjacent to the core business or in diversified business areas, round off the range by offering products for DIY stores, material for electrical installations, electronic components such as circuit boards as well as financial services.
We are a family business
Today, more than three million customers worldwide put their trust in Würth. Behind the long-term success of the Würth Group are people and a very special corporate philosophy. Würth is a family business founded in 1945 by Adolf Würth.
The current Chairman of the Group’s Supervisory Board, Prof. Dr. h. c. mult. Reinhold Würth, took over and built up the company from the age of 19 after the death of his father Adolf. Starting from the post-war period of reconstruction, he developed the two-person business into a global trading group.

It is to Reinhold Würth's credit that the Würth Group is positioned with such clear focus: This includes a strong brand policy, a forward-looking product strategy, customer proximity, a clear quality initiative, thinking in terms of vision and, last but not least, a strong corporate culture. Bettina Würth, the daughter of Reinhold Würth, as Chair of the Advisory Board, and the Group Management ensure that these values are a living reality and further developed.
